Are We Hearing the Footsteps of the Messiah?

The first link this post is referring to deals with a prophecy of the Vilna Ga'on, the great Jewish scholar known as the Genius of Vilna.  If you look at the link, you get an idea of what is being talked about - the conquest of Crimea by the Russians, and how it relates to the coming of the messiah.

Let's go over the elements of the prophecy, one by one.  The first element talks about the seizure of "the city of Crimea".  There is no city of Crimea.  There is the Crimean Peninsula, however, and a war was fought over it in the mid 1800's, when it was still the territory of the Empire of Russia.  It remained Russian territory until 1990 or so, when the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic, seceded from the USSR.   So, when the Ukraine became fully independent of what is now known as the Russian Federation, the successor state of both the Russian Empire and the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, it owned the Crimean Peninsula.   The prophecy says that "when you hear that the Russians have captured the Crimea, you are hearing the footsteps of the messiah."

But there is more to this prophecy than just who owns the Crimean Peninsula.  The prophecy of the Vilna Ga'on also talks about the city of Constantinople (what is now Istanbul, in Turkey).  It says, "when you hear that they (the Russians) have entered Constantinople, the messiah is about to be revealed."   Constantinople is on the Sea of Marmara, what is really a small lake connecting the Black Sea to the Mediterranean Sea.  In other words, this prophecy by the Vilna Ga'on indicates that this Turkish city has to be seized by the Russians in order for the prophecy to come true.  So, watching for the arrival of the messiah requires watching the nature of hostilities between Russia and Turkey.

That is where events of recent days make this whole prophecy rather relevant.  Last year, the Russian military invaded the Ukraine and annexed the Crimean Peninsula - step one accomplished.  Last week, the Turks shot down a Russian fighter jet which was flying in Syria very close to (or if you believe the Turks, in) Turkey.  Yesterday, the Russian president, Vladimir Putin, declared a boycott of Turkish goods by the Russians.  Finally, we have this story from Sorcha Faal, a woman who writes with a distinctly Russian slant;

With Armenia now becoming a vital part of the Russian Joint Air Defense, this report continues, Federation military forces will now be able to counter threats from Turkey coming from that nation's western border—which will mirror the air defense protections provided by Federation Aerospace and Naval forces on Turkey’s border with Syria that since being implemented this past week have seen both United States and Turkish aircraft completely cease flying missions against Islamic State terrorists in this war zone altogether.   
 
So here, we see the second element of the prophecy being implemented - in part.  It is evident that the Russians are preparing a military offensive against the Turks.  Other media will muddy the waters with confusing reports on all of this.  Al Jazeera is a perfect example of this.

But, I have no doubt that over time, and not too long a time at that, we will see prophecy coming true.  I return to the warnings of a young Israeli teenager who died and came back to life.  The world we know will change radically soon.  And these changes are "imminent" - that is to say, in the coming months.

Reuvenations, 25 Novembef, 2015 - More ABBA

I don't  really know what has come over me the last few days.  A couple of days ago, the wife and I watched ABBA until three in the morning.  Here it is 2:37 in the morning, and again, we were watching ABBA.  A couple of days ago, it was a long video produced by ZDF from Germany.  I understand enough Yiddish to sort of understand German, but fortunately for the two of us, ABBA sang in English.  However the many interviews in that tape (you'll have to go to that video a couple of days back to see this) were overlaid in German, and my wife was utterly disgusted by the fact that she couldn't understand the language.

In the tape we watched this evening, the career of ABBA was traced from its earliest beginnings in Swedish folk music, where Benny and Björn (the two "B's" in ABBA) got their start as musicians.  And with the exception of a few tunes in the beginning, tunes which were in Swedish, the entire tape was in English.  So, it was entirely understandable for both of us.  For me, there was an added plus.  The analysis of the rise of ABBA included an explanation of the left-wing political background of the Swedish music of the 1960's, something which resonates in its politics today.  It was clear from the tape that ABBA went against the left-wing grain of Swedish music; they talked of love, of loss, of pain and of life, instead of ideology.  So, it should have been no surprise that ABBA, with time, flew to the top of the charts in Europe, even if the frosty Swedes were too snobbish to recognize the elemental things in life that matter.  Unfortunately for them (the Swedes, that is), especially for Swedish women, they are still too snobbish to recognize the important things in life that matter.  But I digress.

Nevertheless, the story of ABBA, no matter how much you admire their perfectionism, their excellent lyrics, the fine harmonization of Ana-Freda and Agnetha, and all the other qualities these four musicians brought to pop music -  their story remains a sad tale of how two couples fell in love - and how they fell out of love.  Watch the tape that we did, if you have time.

Ruvenations - 24 November, 2015; A Video of a Young Teenager Who Comes Back From Death.

This is a 38 minute video in Hebrew by a young man and a rabbi made in a synagogue in Israel.  The young man had died - and come back to life 15 minutes later.  This business of dying and coming back to life seems a lot more common these days.  Aside from that phenomenon, there is what this young man seems to learn in the fifteen minutes that he is "dead". 

The video has English subtitles that are not the easiest to read, so pay careful attention to it.  There is a longer video - one nearly two hours long - that I'm not posting here because there are no subtitles at all.  When I find I have a serious readership that is Hebrew-speaking, I'll amend this post and add that video as well.

You can read the numerical details in the article.  However, the bottom line is that OUR OWN POLICE WILL RESTRICT OUR OWN PRESENCE ON OUR OWN HOLIEST SITE!   It is precisely this kind of behavior that will cause the Israeli prime minister and his cabinet, whomever they are, to be killed in enemy attacks on Jerusalem in the near future.  In particular, those who originated that order and those all the way to the top who approved it will die.  It may be that the "Son of Perdition" (the United States) will offer a peace plan to divide Jerusalem, and the prime minister will accept.  Be that as it may, the Tana"kh warns that this foreign attack will be successful, and Jerusalem will be under foreign occupation for a period of time before God Himself steps into the battle and destroys the foreign enemy. 

Others warn that the United States itself will be divided as a result of this action, a permanent division making the Mississippi River a 50 mile wide channel between the eastern and western halves of a ruined nation, with millions dying as earthquakes and floods destroy the United States on both coasts, while sinking almost all of Florida under water.  They point to verses in the Book of Joel to back up this warning.  However, this is not my concern in posting this. 

It is my personal belief that a messianic figure will make himself known as a leader in battle at that time.  This may be mashiaH ben yosef [משיח בן יוסף], whom our sages say will fall in the battle against a huge enemy.

I saw this on Facebook today (23 November, 2015).  I am shocked that this woman's account - her attack on the muzzie shit who seek our slaughter - has not been silenced by the shitty Arab ass-kissing cowards who run Facebook or You Tube.  I am most pleasantly surprised that it has been allowed to go viral on Facebook and on You Tube.  Her warning to the muzzie shit needs to be translated into Hebrew; and her blunt and plain language is the model that WE need to follow in EXTERMINATING THE ARAB  ENEMY, AND THE MUZZIE SHIT WORLD-WIDE WHO WOULD MURDER US OFF UPON THE CALL OF THEIR DAMNED "HOLY BOOK".  Frankly, I agree with EVERY WORD SHE SAYS.  I share this with you in the hopes that it will impress you with the will WE NEED TO HAVE!
