The World's Persecution of Jews is Slowly Being Rectified

בס"ד

In 1492, the Spanish government expelled Jews from Spain, after torturing them for some decades with the tortures of the Inquisition.  Many Jews, however, under this brutal treatment, converted to Catholicism, and remained Catholics, secretly practicing their faith, or imparting their roots to their children in hushed circumstances.  The brutal Inquisition continued to operate in Spain, and as Spanish colonists went to colonize America, their brutal Inquisition went with them - this time, not only torturing Catholics who might not be pure enough for them (in order to root out the hidden Jews), but also to torture the Native Americans and force them to convert to a foreign religion against their will - and suffer in slavery as well.

The Spanish have much to answer for with respect to their treatment of my people - and they will be made to suffer.  But in the meantime, a rectification is taking place, by which Jews who were forced to convert to Catholicism, are being given a route home - and there are many millions of them.   This article in Arutz Sheva illustrates just the beginning of recovering the lost Jews to our own people.  Read and understand.
